Wooden puzzles are a great way to learn scroll saw basics while creating a unique, handcrafted item perfect for your family or loved ones. In this class students will learn how to use a scroll saw safety with proper blade selection, installation, and tension.
Students will learn all about CNC systems. In the first session, participants will learn how to use design software. We will design a 12" x 20" sign with whatever logos or phrasing they decide. After designing, students will learn how to create tool paths for the machine and how to export the new design to the CNC
Build a Windsor Continuous Arm Chair with Chair maker Luke A. Barnett. Students will join us for a 7-day class. We will start with logs on Monday morning and finish with a continuous armchair on Saturday. Students who have not completed their chair or are making a rocking chair will return Sunday.

Learn the elements and importance of contracts, and what to include in a contract depending on the purpose. Learn how to structure your business when considering different liabilities, tax responsibilities, levels of control, and legal protections.
Explore the world of woodturning through turning a simple bowl. Students will learn the basics of spindle turning, tool use, rounding a rough wood blank, and bowl turning in a fun and informative weekend. Project to be completed includes a basic wood bowl, with some exploration of form and the addition of simple embellishments.
This class is comprised of two separate projects: Basic Bowl and Round Box. Each project will reinforce basic bowl turning skills and introduce new techniques.

Using a combination of instructor demonstration and hands-on practice, students in this class will experience the many ways to bend wood. Students will also learn how to make different types of forms, how to build a simple steam box and will build a trammel for their routers. We will discuss clamping, shaping, and joining curved parts.
